Nourilog is a food, drink and daily care diary app for Android, made by 3DI Solutions Limited ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how. In short: your diary stays on your phone, and we never see it.
3DI Solutions Limited, registered in England and Wales (company number 06557502). Registered office: Little Acre, 10 Southerwicks, Corsham, Wiltshire SN13 9NH. Contact: info@nourilog.com
Everything you record in Nourilog – meals, drinks, photos, bodily functions, sleep, symptoms, medication, measurements, appointments, notes and settings – is stored only on your phone, inside the app's private storage. This can include information about your health, which you choose to enter.
We do not have servers that receive your diary. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics or tracking in the app. We cannot see, access or recover your information.
Photos: to let you pick meal photos from your gallery and read the time they were taken. Photos you choose are copied into the app. If you ask it to, the app can remove the original from your gallery after copying.
Camera: to take a photo of a meal or drink, if you choose to.
Physical activity: to count your steps using your phone's step sensor, if you turn this on.
Notifications, alarms and vibration: for reminders, wait timers and the eating pacer that you set up.
Start at boot: so your reminders and step counting carry on after your phone restarts.
You can turn any of these off in your phone's settings; the related feature will then stop working.
Only when you choose to:
Reports: when you send a PDF report, it goes to the app or person you pick (for example email or WhatsApp). That service's own privacy policy then applies.
Backups: when you save a backup, or turn on automatic backup, a file is saved to a folder you choose (which may be a cloud folder such as Google Drive). You control that file.
Android backup: your phone's own Google backup may include app data, depending on your phone settings.
Subscriptions are handled by Google Play. We do not receive your card details. Google shares limited purchase information with us (such as whether a subscription is active) so the app can unlock its features. Google's privacy policy applies to payments.
If you contact info@nourilog.com we will use your email address and message only to reply to you, and keep them for no longer than we need to. Please do not send us medical information.
Nourilog is not aimed at children under 13.
Because your diary is stored only on your phone, you are in full control: you can view, change or delete any entry in the app, and uninstalling Nourilog removes everything it stored on your phone. For information you have sent us by email, you have rights under UK data protection law to access, correct or delete it – contact info@nourilog.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
If we change this policy we will update this page and the date at the top.
